Gadget Show Solar Boat

Ortis Deley from Channel Five’s the Gadget Show pilots the solar powered boat we produced, along the river Avon. We designed and manufactured the bespoke frame and mounts for the solar panels and used Zego hulls for floatation. The solar panels were then mounted to an actuator to angle them towards the sun. For propulsion we used an electric outboard motor. The boat was assembled in our workshop.
